January’s edition of AEHL Rinkside features Calgary U18 AAA Royals defenceman Marek Howell.
The Alberta Elite Hockey League is pleased to present AEHL Rinkside, hosted by Troy Gillard, featuring players and coaches from the AEHL every month.
Marek is in his third season in the AEHL with the Calgary Royals organization, and his first with the U18 AAA Royals, suiting up with the U15 AAA Royals in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.
He recently played for Team Alberta at the 2021 WHL Cup in Red Deer, and was selected in the first round of the 2021 WHL Draft by the Moose Jaw Warriors, 16th overall.
