The final weekend of the 2021-22 Alberta Elite Hockey League season gets underway Thursday as the U16 AAA Provincial Championships, presented by ATB, kick off in Grande Prairie.
The GPAC Storm will host the NWCAA Flames, Calgary Royals, Fort Sask Rangers and CAC as the five teams compete to hoist the first U16 AAA provincial banner since 2019, and the first since the creation of the AEHL.
Round-robin play kicks off Thursday afternoon, and continues through Saturday, with the bronze medal game set for Sunday at 10am, and the gold medal game at 1pm. All games take place at the Coca Cola Centre (North Arena), and all games will be streamed on HockeyTV, and you can stay up-to-date on social media via the tournament’s Facebook page.
