The Alberta Elite Hockey League is pleased to present AEHL Rinkside, hosted by Troy Gillard, featuring players and coaches from the AEHL every month.
The very first edition features Mazden Leslie, a defenceman with the Lloydminster Insland Steel Bobcats (U18 AAA).
The Lloydminster native is in his second season with the U18 AAA Bobcats, and fourth season overall in the AEHL, having played U15 AAA in 2017-18 and 2018-19, the latter of which included the (then AMBHL) Top Defenceman award.
Leslie was selected 10th overall by the Vancouver Giants at the 2020 WHL Draft.
